Phylogenomics in Amanita
Amanita is a fungal genus forming mutualistic ectomycorrhizal symbioses with plants predominantly. However, some basal groups of Amanita are decayers. This project aims to understand the genetic novelties that contribute to the ecological niche shift in ectomycorrhizal Amanita.

Population Genomics in Death Cap
Death cap, or Amanita phalloides, is an infamous poisonous fungal species which invaded around the globe. This project uses population genomics techniques to answer various question including the genetic individual sizes, mitochondrial dynamics, mating system variations and toxin profiles of these fungi.
